What is Behavioral Value Investor?

I have spent 25+ years as a professional value investor learning hard-won lessons in the markets that I am now sharing with you. From my early days as a young analyst at Fidelity Investments, where I had the privilege to learn from investing greats like Peter Lynch, Joel Tillinghast and Will Danoff, to the last decade of managing my own investment partnership, Silver Ring Value Partners, my journey has taught me much about what works, and what does not, in investing.

Along the way, I discovered that I enjoy and am good at teaching. I have mentored numerous young analysts and successfully taught many students via the Value Investing Seminar at Babson’s F.W. Olin Graduate School of Business.

Now, I am sharing these lessons at the intersection of investing and behavioral finance with you. The goal is to help you become a better investor and give you the opportunity to learn that I wish I had over my investing career.
