IMPORTANT: Security Alert Regarding Impersonation Scam
It has come to my attention that an individual is impersonating me on the messaging app Telegram, using the screen name ‘@garymishuriscfa’ and my photo to contact members of our Value Investing Seminar group.
To be clear: I do not have a Telegram account. Any communication from someone claiming to be me on that platform is fraudulent.
This impersonator is attempting to sell paid access to ‘market analysis.’ This is the very antithesis of our shared philosophy. As you know, my work is centered on the disciplined, long-term process of value investing, not on talking about short-term market trends.
Just to be clear - there is no paid “tier” or anything like that for this seminar or any of my other writing. Any gated paid community or anything similar is a scam.
The existence of this scam is a perfect example of the short-term, get-rich-quick mindset that our entire philosophy is designed to protect you from.
What to do:
Do not engage with this person. Do not send them money.
Report the account for impersonation immediately if you are contacted.
Please share this message with anyone you know from our seminar to ensure they are aware.
